[D] Text Description:
1 Local consumer input is through 1) a toll-free number or a local office representative. Then reports are standardized by a system representative. Alternatively, 2) Reports are submitted on a standardized form by mail, fax, E-mail, or the Internet. Both types of submission lead to systems input using common data standards. Input flows toward the system multilevel analytic engine through 1) collection of structured data inputs; and 2) classification of narrative data inputs, using natural language processing. Data inputs flow toward 1) aggregation of data and identification of trends, 2) perform aggregate causal analysis, and 3) investigate a small number of specifically selected individual reports.
