The TeamSTEPPS 3.0 curriculum focuses on embracing the positive aspects of incorporating new teamwork and communication strategies into practice and recognizing the patient focus as the purpose of learning new skills. Faster care for stroke patients, more efficient patient transfers from emergency department gurneys to inpatient hospital beds, and fewer surgical complications are among the numerous success stories shared by healthcare teams who have participated in TeamSTEPPS.
