How to Enter the Challenge
Participants can register by visiting the Challenge.gov website. Participants should carefully review challenge information and submission requirements on the website, including the intellectual property rules and assessment criteria. Participants are encouraged to follow the Challenge on Challenge.gov to obtain any updates and reminders of upcoming deadlines.
Submission Requirements
Phase 1:
The submitted white papers must be written in U.S. English and submitted using Challenge.gov no later than December 6, 2023. Applicants or applicant organizations must submit no more than one proposal. Submissions must be no longer than 25 pages, inclusive of any tables and figures. (The maximum page length is 25 pages. There is no minimum page length. Submissions may be less than 25 pages, inclusive of any tables and figures.) Proposals are to be submitted in PDF format using 12-point font using one-inch margins on all sides. Captions or labels must be included with any tables or figures and be placed below them. A Reference Page (if needed) is to be included as a separate appendix.
Phase 2:
Presentations must be slide-based and presented in U.S. English. Presentations will occur in January 2024. Exact time, dates, and virtual registration information will be provided to Phase 1 winners. Slide sets must be submitted directly to AHRQ no later than 2 business days prior to the presentation date. Presentations must adhere to the concepts, designs, and ideas submitted in the Phase 1 white paper. Only participants identified as winners of Phase 1 may participate in the presentation.
